This past month, head instructor Roberto Torralbas of Team Third Law participated in the Atlanta Summer International Open Jiu-Jitsu IBJJF Championship, held on August 29th and 30th at the Georgia International Convention Center in Atlanta. The event, which is held annually, is designed to allow both male and female Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu athletes ranging from levels Juvenile to Master 6 and belts ranging from White to Black to showcase their talents and skills in a competitive, yet friendly setting.
For his event, Roberto Torralbas competed under Team Lloyd Irvin against Aaron Michael Johnson of Smith BJJ Academy in McDonough, GA. After a heavy and intense competition lasting around just ten minutes, Roberto Torralbas was able to defeat his opponent, returning home to Naples a champion and making his Team Third Law family proud.
