This was not just an ordinary blue belt promotion for Master Roberto. This promotion for student Jullian Rives had special meaning at naples jiu jitsu.

Starting at the age of fifteen, he has proudly represented his team at naples jiu jitsu for six years as a white belt. Jullian was also Team Third Law’s first gold medalist. He won two golds at NAGA in 2007 as you can see in the photo in which Master Roberto is holding up in the picture above.
Jullian became a marine but still trained and kept in touch with Master Roberto throughout the years.
Students of naples Jiu Jitsu know that Master Roberto will not promote unless he feels you are ready and you have met the standards. So, a big congratulations to Jullian who has definitely earned his blue belt.
